Southern Brotherhood comes to Hudson
THE ROYAL SOUTHERN Brotherhood will perform at 9 p.m. Saturday at Club Helsinki, 405 Columbia St. in Hudson.
The group features Cyril Neville on percussion and vocals, Devon Allman on guitars and vocals, Mike Zito on guitar and vocals, Charlie Wooton on bass and Yonrico Scott on drums.
Before they even hit a chord, Royal Southern Brotherhood have your attention. In the U.S. South, where music is religion, two rock ‘n’ roll bloodlines tower above all others. The mere mention of the Allman and Neville brothers casts a magic spell and these guys are related.
Neville lent percussion and vocals to classic albums including 1975’s “Fire On The Bayou.”
Allman is the son of Gregg Allman..
Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door. Admission is for those 21 and over.
