The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
KINGSTON
u DWI: John P. Heavey, 44, of Kingston, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday by state police at Ulster and charged with misdemeanor drunken driving following a traffic stop on Broadway. He was issued an appearance ticket for Kingston City Court.
u Parole violation: Marc F. Bonaventure, 33, of 365 E. 193rd St., the Bronx, was arrested at 10 p.m. Wednesday by the Kingston Police Department street crimes unit. Bonaventure, who police said is a known member of the Bloods street gang, was at a residence at 17 E. Chestnut St., Kingston. When police attempted to arrest him for parole violation, he fled to the roof of the residence. When police attempted to gain access to the roof through the hatch, Bonaventure blocked the hatch door with his body, forcing police to push their way through. Police charged Bonaventure with felony parole violation. He was sent to Ulster County Jail pending further proceedings.
TOWN OF ULSTER
u DWI: Allen Dashawn, 45, of Kingston, was arrested at 5:32 p.m. Wednesday by state police at Ulster and charged with misdemeanor drunken driving following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 209. He was issued an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.
u Fugitive from justice: Michael Romeo, 33, of 44 Lake Road, Lake Katrine, was arrested Wednesday by Ulster Town Police on a felony probation warrant for burglary out of Broward County, Fla. Ulster Police said they were contacted by Broward County law enforcement who believed Romeo was living in the area. Romeo was sent to Ulster County Jail pending extradition proceedings.
CAIRO
u Grand larceny: Linda E. Clark, 44, of Lindenhurst, was arrested at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday by state police at Catskill and charged with felony grand larceny. She was sent to Greene County Jail in lieu of bail.
NEW PALTZ
u Forged instrument: Bernadette Yaros, 22, of Kingston, was arrested at 6 p.m. on March 7 at the New Paltz Town Court and charged by state police at Wawarsing with misdemeanor possession of a forged instrument. She was issued an appearance ticket for New Paltz Town Court.
OLIVE
u DWI: Justin B. Fox, 48, of Woodstock, was arrested at 10:22 p.m. Wednesday by state police at Ulster and charged with felony drunken driving following a traffic stop on state Route 28. No additional information was available.
ROSENDALE
u Drugs, probation violation: Kristine Scibelli, 28, of 312 Main St., Apartment B., Rosendale, was arrested at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday and charged by the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team (URGENT) with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and criminally using drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors, as well as numerous probation violations, following a “probation home check” during which authorities searched her home and found one and one-half ounces of cocaine, pharmaceuticals, drug packaging material and an electronic scale with cocaine residue. She was arraigned in Kingston Town Court and sent to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
