'ASK for Music' tonight in Kingston

Jim Gaudet, Paul Maloney and Ron Renninger will perform at the “ASK for Music” event at the Art Society of Kingston, 97 Broadway, tonight at 8 p.m.

“ASK for Music” is a monthly venue for Hudson Valley songwriters to showcase their talent.  Michael and Emmy Clarke host the event.

Gaudet is a folksinger and a storyteller and known for his straightforward approach.

Renninger has five CDs. His latest is “Soulmates & Sentences.” He’s schedule to soon release “Late Bloomer.”

Maloney worked as a bass player with The Saturday Night Bluegrass Band, The Pontiacs, Big Joe Fitz, Dr. Romo’s Cajun Swing Orchestra, The Jim Barbaro Band and Cleoma’s Ghost.

Tickets are $6.
