WHAT: Eleanor Roosevelt Knit-In

WHEN: May 6 from 1 to 5 p.m.

WHERE: Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Home, Route 9, Hyde Park

DETAILS: Bring your own yarn and needles and come together to make squares to turn into afghans for the troops, VA hospitals, battered women’s shelters and others in need. Reservations required.
