The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

HYDE PARK

u Drugs: Roger Newirk Jr., 25, of Hyde Park, was charged Tuesday at about 3:25 a.m. with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, according to state police at Rhinebeck. Troopers arrested Newirk after checking on a Hyde Park business and seeing a vehicle parked behind it for no reason, police said.

TOWN OF LLOYD

u Forgery: Daniella Caramb, 25, of Lloyd, was charged Monday about 4:15 p.m. at 212 state Route 299 in the town of Lloyd with forgery, a felony, according to state police at Gardiner.

PLATTEKILL

u Endangering: Stanley G. Davis, 38, of Plattekill, was charged Monday with endangering the welfare of a child, obstructing governmental administration, and resisting arrest, misdemeanors, according to state police at Gardiner.

  TOWN OF ULSTER

u Stalking: Gary Thomas, 52, of Bloomington, was charged Monday with stalking, a misdemeanor, according to state police at Ulster.
