SUNY Hawks outscore Potsdam in women's lacrosse

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. — Kingston High product Lianne Valdivia and SUNY New Paltz teammate Carissa Citro scored five goals apiece as the Hawks women’s lacrosse team beat Potsdam 18-14 in the State University of New York Athletic Conference Tuesday.

Valdivia, who leads the team with 34 goals this season, also added two assists in the win for New Paltz (2-5 SUNYAC, 7-9 overall).

Talia Tesler contributed four goals and an assist, Julia Donato had two goals and and assist and Samantha DelGaudio had one goal and five assists in the win.

Goalies Stephanie Mignone and Jackie Ulanoff combined for six saves.

New Paltz 12 6—18
