The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
TOWN OF ULSTER
Aggravated unlicensed operation: Michael Cacchio, 51, of New Paltz, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. Deputies said he was driving his car with a suspended driver’s license, having had eight suspensions on eight separate dates. He was arraigned in Ulster Town Court and sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $750 cash or $1,500 bond.
Mischief: Paul E. Morris, 23, of 200 Broadway, Port Ewen, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday and charged with criminal mischief and assault, both misdemeanors. Deputies said the arrest stemmed from a domestic dispute on Tuesday. Morris was arraigned in Ulster Town Court and released with court appearance tickets.
CATSKILL
Reckless endangerment: Jeffrey Boyer, 52, of Palenville, was arrested at 3:07 a.m. Friday at 97 Cauterskill Ave., Catskill, and charged with reckless endangerment, illegal discharge of a firearm, criminal mischief and criminal possession of a weapon, all misdemeanors. He was held by police pending a court appearance.
CLAVERACK
Drugs: Kim W. Douglas, 52, of Claverack, was arrested by state police at Claverack at 10:05 a.m. Thursday on Webb Road and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, both misdemeanors; unlawful possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct, violations; and two traffic infractions. No further details were provided.
COXSACKIE
DWI: Joana Batista, 27, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 4:57 a.m. Friday on U.S. Route 9W and charged with drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content exceeding .08 percent, both misdemeanors. She was released with court appearance tickets. Continued...
ELLENVILLE
Violating probation: Rachael L. Irwin, 30, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police at Ellenville at 8:20 p.m. Thursday at the Ellenville Village Police Department and charged with violating probation, a felony. She was held by police pending a court appearance.
ESOPUS
Menacing: Andrew M. Delano, 64, of Willow, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:15 a.m. Thursday and charged with menacing, a misdemeanor; and harassment, a violation. He was held in lieu of cash bail pending a court appearance.
LLOYD
Drugs: Scott S. Montfort, 20, of Wallkill, was arrested by state police at Highland at 5:55 p.m. Thursday on Route 44/55 and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and having a controlled substance in a non-original container, a violation. He was released with a court appearance ticket.
PLATTEKILL
Drugs: Ashley M. Newhall, 21, of Highland, was arrested by state police at Highland at 10:15 p.m. Thursday on state Route 32 and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and having a controlled substance in a non-original container, a violation. She was released with court appearance tickets.
SHAWANGUNK
DWI: Robert W. Apelles, 37, of 1339 Indian Springs Road, Pine Bush, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at 1:29 a.m. Friday on Oregon Trail and charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding .08 percent, both misdemeanors; and one traffic infraction. Deputies said they responded to a 911 call of car rollover accident on Oregon Trail and found Apelles was intoxicated at the time of the accident. He was treated on the scene by Pine Bush Rescue. WAWARSING
Weapon possession: Mark Q. Johnson, 60, of Napanoch, was arrested by state police at Ellenville at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Montrose VA Hospital and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, a felony; two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and menacing, both misdemeanors. He was held by police pending a court appearance.
