Ulster golfers third in Mid-Hudson Conference match

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — Medalist Colby Lewis led Rockland County Community College to first place Saturday in a Mid-Hudson Conference golf match at McCann Memorial Golf Course.

Lewis shot three-over-par 75, and Rockland had a 340 team total. Host Dutchess followed at 347, with Ulster (372) third.

Orange, Westchester and Sullivan competed with incomplete teams.

The Senators maintained their hold on second place overall. Rockland stands first with 29 points, followed by Ulster (22) and Dutchess (16).

Oliver Pulver (87) and Chris Moruzzi (87) paced the Senators at McCann in the next-to-last match of the regular season. The final match will be Thursday at Tarry Brae, home course for Sullivan.

Other counting scores for Ulster came from Pat Beesmer (97) and Jake DePew (100). Jeremy Reynolds also participated for the Senators.
