The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

CITY OF KINGSTON

• DWI: Juan P. Knox, 29, of Kingston was arrested Sunday at 4:21 a.m. by state police at Ulster and charged with two counts of misdemeanor drunken driving, and misdemeanor aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was issued tickets to appear in Kingston City Court.

• Drugs: Mitch L. Hyman, 57, of Olive was arrested Sunday at 12:20 a.m. aby state police at Ulster and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He was issued a ticket to appear in Kingston City Court.

• Drugs: Okeam O. Cherry, 39, of 4 O’Neil St., Kingston was arrested Sunday at 2:44 a.m. by Kingston police and charged with two misdemeanors; possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest. Additional information was not available.

CAIRO

• Drugs: Michael K. Murphy, 22, address not available, was arrested Saturday at 8:30 a.m. by state police at Catskill and charged with three misdemeanors: possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument and operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, as well as violation possession of marijuana. He was issued tickets to appear in Cairo Town Court. In the same incident Spencer G. Sutton, 18, of Saugerties, was arrested and charged with violation possession of marijuana. He was issued a ticket to appear in Cairo Town Court.

• Burglary: Dale R. Olmsted, 27 of Catskill was arrested Saturday at 2:14 p.m. by state police at Coxsackie and charged with felony burglary. He was released on $10,000 cash bail.

ESOPUS

• DWAI/drugs: Johnnie C. Wright, 43, of Kingston was arrested Saturday at 8:30 p.m. by state police at Highland and charged with three misdemeanors: operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs; possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was issued tickets to appear in Esopus Town Court. Continued...

GREENVILLE

• Assault: James Felter, 18, of Catskill was arrested Sunday by state police at Coxsackie and charged with felony assault with intent to cause injury with a weapon, and two misdemeanors: criminal nuisance and unlawfully dealing with a child. Additional information on Felter was not available. In the same incident, police arrested the following: Daniel O. Whitbeck, 25, of Freehold, who was arrested Sunday at 6:30 a.m. at 749 Big Woods Road, Freehold Pub, and charged with two misdemeanors: criminal nuisance and unlawfully dealing with a child. He posted bail and was released; bail amount was not disclosed. Police also arrested Matthew Brink, 27, of Freehold in the same incident and charged him with misdemeanor unlawfully dealing with a child. Brink posted bail and was released; bail amount was not disclosed. Police also arrested Nathan W. Lee, 26, of Esperance and charged him with two misdemeanors: criminal nuisance and unlawfully dealing with a child. He posted bail and was released; bail amount was not disclosed.

NEW PALTZ

• DWI: Thomas L. Crowe, 26, of Walker Valley was arrested Sunday at 1:55 a.m. by state police at Highland and charged with two counts of misdemeanor drunken driving. He was released to a third party with tickets to appear in New Paltz Town Court.

• DWAI: Stevens Derozier, 22, of 88 William St., Yonkers was arrested Sunday at 2:42 p.m. by deputies of the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office and charged with two misdemeanors: aggravated unlicensed operation and operating with a suspended/revoked registration, as well as the violations of driving while ability impaired by alcohol and operating a motor vehicle the wrong way on a one-way street. Deputies said they observed Derozier’s 2003 Honda Accord drive the wrong way on a one-way street and stopped the vehicle. Their investigation determined that Deroziers had been drinking prior to the stop. He was issued tickets to appear in New Paltz Town Court.

RHINEBECK

• DWI: Allen E. O’Brien, 23, of Rhinebeck was arrested Sunday at 3:40 a.m. by state police at Rhinebeck and charged with two counts of misdemeanor drunken driving. He was issued tickets to appear in Rhinebeck Town Court.

STONE RIDGE

• DWI: Elizabeth J. MacGuinness, 35, of 3140 Route 209, Stone Ridge was arrested Sunday at 2:31 a.m. by deputies of the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office and charged with two counts of misdemeanor drunken driving. Deputies said they responded to a report of an erratic vehicle operation on state Route 209 between Kingston and Stone Ridge. They said several witnessess reported to 911 that MacGuinness’ vehicle was failing to maintain its lane and saw her almost strike a telephone pole. Deputies said she was charged and issued tickets to appear in Marbletown Town Court.
