VIDEO: Two Bob Cohens are better than one

KINGSTON, N.Y. — Bob Cohen, left, the cantor at Temple Emanuel in Kingston, will perform Saturday night with a Bethlehem, Pa., resident who also is named Bob Cohen.

Their concert, "The 2 Bob Cohens R Better Than 1! (Show)," begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the temple, 243 Albany Ave., Kingston. Admission is $10.

The two Bob Cohens recently discovered they had not only matching names but a shared interest in music, so they decided to put on a show.

Kingston’s Bob Cohen is chairman of the Ulster County Religious Council and once sang with the New World Singers, the first group to record the Bob Dylan song ‘Blowin’ in the Wind.’ Pennsylvania’s Bob Cohen sang as a boy soprano with the American Boychoir in his youth and now is a cabaret performer.
