Port Ewen man, 23, charged after allegedly slashing Kingston woman with straight razor

KINGSTON, N.Y. -- A 23-year-old Port Ewen man has been arrested for allegedly slashing a woman with a straight razor at a residence in Downtown.

Police report that Juan A. "Chino" Beniqeuz III, of 204 Salem St., Port Ewen, was arrested near Golden Hill Drive, Kingston, and charged with felony assault.

Police said Beniquez is being held at Ulster County Jail without bail.
