The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
CITY OF KINGSTON
• Drugs: Lawrence W. Wright, 27, of 33 Girard St., Apt. 2, Connelly, was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony criminal possession of stolen property and felony scheme to defraud by Kingston Police Department on Thursday. Police said Wright was illegally receiving oxycodone that was being delivered to his apartment by a local pharmacy, diverted by Margaret A. Murray, 49, of 321 Washington Ave., Kingston. Murray had been arrested on charges of felony criminal sale of a controlled substance and felony grand larceny on May 1. Both Wright and Murray were released on appearance tickets.
• Drugs: Lamar A. Johnson, 25, of 3 Gray St, Apt. 1, Poughkeepsie, and Eric T. Archer, 26, of 89 Cannon St., Poughkeepsie, were both charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance by Kingston Police Department at 1:54 a.m. on Saturday at the Steel House Bar at 100 Rondout Landing in the city of Kingston. Police said Johnson had marijuana and heroin in his possession, while Archer was found with ecstasy. Johnson also was charged with the violations of unlawful possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct. Both men were released on appearance tickets for Kingston City Court.
ELLENVILLE
• DWI: John A. Donghia, 56, of Ellenville, was charged with misdemeanor drunken driving and misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08 percent by state police in Wawarsing at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday on Canal St. in the village of Ellenville. He was released on tickets.
LLOYD
• DWI: George R. Wolfe, 41, of Pleasant Valley, was charged with misdemeanor drunken driving and misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08 percent by state police at 10:25 p.m. on Friday on U.S. Route 9W in the town of Lloyd. He was released on tickets.
• DWI: Giordona M. Dodge, 22, of Highland, was charged with misdemeanor drunken driving and misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08 percent by state police at 1 a.m. on Saturday on U.S. Route 9W in the town of Lloyd. She was released on tickets.
• DWI: John C. McCue, 31, of Quincy, Mass., was charged with misdemeanor drunken driving and misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08 percent by state police in Highland at 3:15 a.m. on U.S. Route 9W in the town of Lloyd. Continued...
• Drugs: Simone Arnold, 23, of Highland, was charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance by state police in Highland at 11:37 p.m. on Friday on state Route 299 in the town of Lloyd. She also was charged with the violation of possessing a controlled substance not in its original container and released on tickets.
WAWARSING
• DWI: Benn M. Yerkes, 21, of Napanoch, was charged with misdemeanor drunken driving and misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content greater than 0.08 percent by state police in Wawarsing at 3:31 a.m. on Saturday on McBride St. in the town of Wawarsing. He was released on an appearance ticket.
