Tonight's Law & Disorder: June 30, 2012

The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

CITY OF KINGSTON

DWI: John M. Lockwood, 57, of Kingston, was charged  by state police at Ulster with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both felonies, at 3:20 p.m. Friday on Clinton Avenue in the city of Kingston. Lockwood was released with court appearance tickets.

ESOPUS

Theft: James J. Golgoski, 39, of 369 Union Center Road, Ulster Park, was charged with misdemeanor petit larceny by the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office at 8:15 a.m. Thursday. Deputies said Golgoski stole a portable GPS unit and a power drill from his mother’s home and later exchanged the items to purchase drugs. He was released with tickets to appear in town of Esopus Court at 5 p.m. July 12.

LLOYD

Drugs: Anthony T. Jackson, 35, of Highland, was charged by state police at Highland with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, at 12:35 p.m. Friday on U.S. Route 9W in the town of Lloyd. Jackson also was charged with the misdemeanors of false personation, obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest, along with the violation of unlawful possession of marijuana. He was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail pending a court appearance.

Drugs: Matthew D. Gilgoff, 36, of Rosendale, was charged by state police at Highland with operating a motor vehicle while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, at 8:30 a.m. Friday on state Route 299 in the town of Lloyd. He was released with court appearance tickets.
