KERHONKSON, N.Y. — Firefighters were still battling a stubborn blaze at the Rainbow Diner on U.S. Route 209 in the Accord Fire District at 1:30 p.m.
The diner appeared to be a total loss.
U.S. Route 209 is closed between Samsonville and Boice Mill roads due to a the fire.
Fire department trucks from several departments were bringing water to the scene to fight the fire.
There was no immediate report of injuries.
