The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

SAUGERTIES

Unlawful imprisonment: Bryan M. Golden, 55, of Saugerties, was charged with misdemeanor unlawful imprisonment by state police in Ulster at 9:01 p.m. on Friday in the village of Saugerties. Golden also was charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief and misdemeanor assault and was released on an appearance ticket.

ESOPUS

Drugs: Brad D. Maloney, 26, of Marlboro, was charged with misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle with ability impaired by drugs by state police in Gardiner at 2:11 p.m. on Friday on U.S. Route 9W in the town of Esopus. Maloney also was charged with the traffic infraction of using a mobile phone while driving and was released on tickets.

CATSKILL

DWI: Michelle Ortiz, 28, of Greenville, was charged with misdemeanor drunken driving by state police in Catskill at 3:30 a.m. on Saturday on county Route 23B in the town of Catskill. Ortiz also was charged with the traffic infractions of failure to use designated lane and refusal to take a breathalyzer test. She was released on tickets.
